Educate the kids, thrill yourself, impress a friend...visit an engineering marvel. Travelling by boat isn't the only way to experience the engineering highlights of the canal network - gongoozling on foot is a happy tradition on the waterways too. And don't overlook the amazing ingenuity of the simple lock you'll find on almost any canal! |
